De klepborging (ook wel klepkegeltje of klepvergrendeling genoemd) is een klein halfcilindervormig en conisch metalen onderdeel. Het wordt altijd per paar gebruikt (twee borgingen per klep) en past in de groeven van de klepsteel terwijl het zich verankert in de bovenste veerschotel. Op de Kubota tweecilinder dieselmotor van Aixam en Minauto hebben deze kleine onderdelen de belangrijke taak om de klepveer samengedrukt te houden zodat de klep correct gesloten blijft.
